Brawoliner Drain Lining System
Brawoliner is a new development by the research laboratory of Karl
Otto Braun. It is a solution for renovating house service laterals,
small diameter pipes and elbows that used to be a difficult task
but may be accomplished without folds and wrinkles with this process.
- Installation without wrinkles…even in bends of 90
degrees
- Easy, rapid installation
- Environmentally friendly installation
methods
- Cost-effective
- Time-saving
Once the composite tube has been impregnated with a special epoxy
resin and allowed to cure, a unified, dense and leak-free liner is
achieved exceeding all requirements of the sewage system industry.
Both the Brawoliner sock and resin are manufactured to ISO 9002 standard.
Before the Brawoliner is installed the present condition of lateral
or service lines is determined and documented with photographs. The
lines are then flushed, obstructions removed. Once the line has been
cleared and televised, noting the line length and the location of
inlets and bends it is again flushed clean with water.
An inspection is made by an inserted TV camera to verify proper
installation. After the lateral liner has been installed and allowed
to cure, any intermediate inlets can be easily located due to the
special elastic properties of the Brawoliner. With the advanced Brawoliner
the unique elastic nature of the material allows bend up to 90 degrees
to be relined without folds and wrinkles.
Costly and disruptive repairs associated with open cut reconstruction
methods are no longer necessary. Old buildings, monuments, parks,
trails, streets and floors in a house or other buildings will be
preserved. Repairs and inconvenience that usually result from reconstruction
of service laterals belong to the past.
